I managed to find out how Windows 7 handles the credentials of the network drives. This post then is just used for the 16Kb my memory:).
happen very often in a LAN to access a shared drive on a certain machine (server, NAS, SAN, etc.). And 'good habit to set credentials for access to various shared folders, so as not to leave unattended in our data to other network users.
When you use often as a shared folder should configurarsela network drive, so that it is available immediately in the resources of the computer, every time without having to scroll through the various network locations.
Windows provides this possibility and has automated the process doing the operation in a few clicks.
Configuration Guide Network Drive
applying it in a context of only seven Windows machines, however, I came across an annoying problem:
set whenever a network drive, you restart the system informed me that it was impossible to reconnect the drive and once I tried to reopen it required username and password for access.
Sifting through Google and insisting with my usual method of trial and error "I found that in the case of a protected sharing between two Windows 7 to be specified credentials in a special form:
Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family -> Credential Manager -> Add Windows credentials
From add them to the destination host [IP or hostname] and dischiareremo authentication account [username & password]
confirm it each time you reboot we will not have the fatal error message network and the unit will ready to go and explore.
